I've watched this movie once when my boardmate was watching it on his laptap. The movie is nice and the cool freaks in the movie caught my attentions because they have some unique abilities esp. the monkey girl. The movie is a sequel like Harry Potter and Twilight. Most movies nowadays are sequels and I really have an idea on why directors and authors made most of the movies a sequel type of movie. They think that viewers will be more interested on it 'coz viewers will have a blood-quenching thirst on the next happenings on the movie. I guess that's the reason but to sum up all my conclusion with this movie, the graphics is great, the story like is also awesome but I think that it lacks something within. They should be very detailed on every scene so that the viewers can understand more of the story.
Better watch this movie. KUDOS!

The last Airbender here comes the New Avatar..

This latest TV spot for M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender” showed up during the Winter Olympics on NBC. There are some new footage mixed in with the old, and I believe the voiceover is different.

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

Dear John a movie by Nicholas Sparks

Director Lasse Hallstrom and screenwriter Jamie Lindon collaborate to adapt author Nicolas Sparks's novel about a young soldier who falls for an idealistic college girl. Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried) was on spring break when she first met John Tyree (Channing Tatum) while he was home on temporary leave. For the smitten soldier, it was practically love at first sight. Though the love letters that Savannah sent John were one of the only things that kept him going over the course of the next seven years, when each deployment seemed more treacherous than the last, those loving and heartfelt correspondences would ultimately yield consequences that neither the brave soldier nor his one true love could have ever foreseen. [Less]
